*We tested the BeachGrip in extreme conditions to make sure it would hold in any normal / windy beach conditions. However, and while these tests were officially witnessed by a bailif, the performance of a beach umbrella anchor depends on factors like its proper installation or the quality of the sand, and can therefore not be guaranteed.

Can the BeachGrip be used with all beach umbrellas? BeachGrip asked on 20/07/2023

The BeachGrip is designed to fit standard small beach umbrellas, with poles of up to 25 mm / 1 inch in diameter. However, it cannot be used on a parasol base already equipped with a screw-type anchoring system.

Does the BeachGrip work on a pebble beach? BeachGrip asked on 20/07/2023

Yes ! It is actually one of the very few beach umbrella anchors capable of holding a parasol on a pebble beach. Of course it won’t have the same performance as in the sand and it will take a little more effort to set it up, but it will hold your beach umbrella in light to medium wind conditions.

Yes ! This is actually the only way to install a parasol in the snow, without it sinking completely! The BeachGrip is also ideal for setting up flag poles or banners in either sand or snow.
